In an effort to give myself more time to focus on editorial work I've been dialing back the wedding work I've been doing and showing. This particular wedding, however, is worth note:
I first met Andrew while I was finishing up my BA at Robert Morris University where he heads the web design program. I never had any classes with Andrew (I was able to squeak by due to a technicality) but I did get to work with him through the Sewickley Arts Initiative on a gallery show and he gave some invaluable advice on Rustbelt Almanac when it was in it's infancy.
Andrew is an incredible artist, my favorite of his works explore the idea that games (board, card, and video) are representations of the cultures that make them. He bends the rules of established games to invite discourse and debate.
Needless to say I was flattered when he approached me about flying to Denver to shoot his wedding. It was a great time.
